Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology (IASG) is a section of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI). IASG was founded in 1988 as a non-profit organisation, by a group of surgeons with special interest in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology. Since then, the association grew day by day and at present consists of more than one thousand members.
